Each player starts with five hidden dice. A bid claims at least that many of one face across the whole table. The last player with dice wins.
Faces count literally. Raise the quantity with any face, or keep the quantity and raise the face.
1s are wild for other faces. Open on 2–6. To switch to 1s, bid at least half the previous quantity, rounded up. To leave 1s, bid at least twice their quantity plus one. Raise a bid on 1s by increasing its quantity.
On first reaching one die, the loser opens a Palifico round: 1s count literally, the opening bid may use 1s, and all raises keep the same face. This follows the publisher’s 2024 edition. Exact-call/Calza is omitted.
Challenge the last bid to reveal every cup. If the count meets or exceeds the bid, the challenger loses one die; otherwise the bidder loses one. The loser opens the next round, or the next surviving player if eliminated.
Choose a quantity, then hold a face to bid. Hold Challenge to reveal. Tab and Enter/Space work with the same controls. Escape or Cancel clears your draft. Only your dice are visible until a challenge.
